The most famous nobody in the world started life as a dirt broke published writer with his short story sale to Biker Magazine (he sent his story, Rattlesnake Tie, to Easyrider but they said it was too harsh for their audience, so it went to their sister publication). At that time, Feo decided that sharing a single hotel room with two other guys wasn't for him. So he quit stand-up comedy, moved to Houston, found a remarkable fellowship with other Texans, and created feoamante.com, search engine listed as the #1 Horror Thriller website in the world.

Now, ten years and many published titles to his credit (and a move to L.A.), Feo continues to nurture writers and contributors to his website (alumni include Kelly Parks, Mike Bracken, Harry Shannon, Brian Keene, Monica J. O'Rourke, and Christos Gage to name a few).

"I'm going to keep at this until I'm so rich I can buy a house like that one in QUAKE 4! Except with more furniture and fewer crates."

Kelley Armstrong has been telling stories since before she could write. Her earliest written efforts were disastrous. If asked for a story about girls and dolls, hers would invariably feature undead girls and evil dolls, much to her teachers' dismay. All efforts to make her produce "normal" stories failed.

Today, she continues to spin tales of ghosts and demons and werewolves, while safely locked away in her basement writing dungeon. She's the author of the NYT-bestselling "Women of the Otherworld" paranormal suspense series and "Darkest Powers" young adult urban fantasy trilogy, as well as the Nadia Stafford crime series.

Armstrong lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, kids and far too many pets. Her website is www.KelleyArmstrong.com.

Monica S. Kuebler first fell in love with monsters at age five. A few years later when most young girls were hooked on Judy Blume novels and the Sweet Valley High series, she was reading Stephen King, Clive Barker and Dean Koontz. Horror, it seems, had made itself a home in her heart.

In 1996, she began a ten-year stint as a performance poet, which took her to stages as far abroad as New York, Chicago, San Francisco and London, England. During that time she authored four chapbooks and the co-wrote the 2002 poetry collection Some Words Spoken (with Cynthia Gould).

Since then, Monica has returned home to her horror roots. Currently, she spends her days as Associate Editor at Rue Morgue Magazine (www.rue-morgue.com) and her nights curating the genre line for Burning Effigy Press (www.burningeffigy.com). In what's left of her free time, she can usually be found furiously pounding away at her first Young Adult horror novel (The Cold Ones) and second poetry collection (The Sick and the Beautiful).

I am a hockey, rugby, football and once upon a time soccer mom to four boys. Yes to answer your question I am nuts!! I love to watch them play their sports and enjoy watching my Buffalo Sabres on TV.(Ryan I <3 U) My other love is reading. OK more like an obsession. I read ALL the time. What better to do while waiting for practices to get done or late at night when the insomnia kicks into high gear. Walking to work as long as it is not raining or snowing I am reading a book as I walk. My librarian Liz thinks this is more than a bit strange. My choice of material is 90% paranormal/urban fantasy with the remainder being romance/crime fiction. I have always wanted to write and am now finally attempting my first novel…..and yes, of course it is vamp fiction.
